The creation and hanging of prayer flags or ribbons is an ancient tradition.  The flags contain images and messages of peace, compassion, hopes, dreams and goodwill, and as the wind passes over and through them their blessings are spread throughout the universe.  In this workshop we will each create our own prayer flag after a brief meditation to help us to choose the message we want to share with the world.

Laurel

Laurel is a mixed media artist and teacher living in Raleigh.  She has worked in many different forms of art; from jewelry and hand bound books to fibers and painting. Living on both coasts and in between has given her a broad experience of art, paganism, and people in general. She has studied art, architecture and design, meditation, tarot, and a wide range of metaphysical disciplines.
